In 1985, Bern hosted the very first Joint Conference of the SSRMP, DGMP and ÖGMP. More than four decades later, we are bringing this conference back to where it all began!
It is therefore our great pleasure to invite you to the Joint Conference of the SSRMP, DGMP and ÖGMP 2027, which will take place in Bern, Switzerland from 29. September – 1. October 2027.
The Joint Conference of the SSRMP, DGMP and ÖGMP represents a unique and long-standing tradition and enables scientific exchange and collaboration between the medical physics societies of Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. It aims to bring together colleagues from our three countries and beyond and offers an exceptional setting to share knowledge, cultivate and strengthen professional relationships, and foster future collaborations.
Our field of medical physics is characterized by continuous scientific and technological innovations, interdisciplinary collaborations, and a strong commitment to improve patient care. The Joint Conference of the SSRMP, DGMP and ÖGMP 2027 reflects these strengths by providing an inspiring scientific program, encouraging lively discussions and exchanging ideas between researchers, clinical professionals, industrial partners, and the next generation of medical physicists.
Close interaction between academia, clinical practice, and industry has always been an essential part of medical physics. We warmly welcome our industrial partners to contribute to the meeting by presenting advances in products and solutions. The industrial exhibition will also provide an excellent platform for exchanging perspectives and establishing new connections.
As our predecessors already discovered in 1985, Bern is a perfect match for the Joint Conference of the SSRMP, DGMP and ÖGMP.
